F1 in Singapore 2010
FORMULA ONE Singtel Singapore Grand Prix is happening September 24, 25, and 26, 2010. This high powered action on the tracks brings a multitude of Grand Prix fans to descend upon this cosmopolitan city in one swell swoop, which begins before the race and goes on well after the race is over. It’s imperative to book your accomodation as soon as you can, before all the good accommodations are gone, and they will all be gone, because there’s nothing more exciting than the FORMULA ONE Singtel Singapore Grand Prix.
Besides all the FORMULA ONE fans being wowed at the track , they will also be treated to 2 support races, back by popular demand – the Formula BMW Pacific and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. Not only that, but Singapore Grand Prix has expanded the off-track entertainment repertoire, ensuring there’s something for everyone, like the adrenaline charged ‘Freestyle Trials Bike’ show that will keep the crowd on the edge of their seats with a showcase of spectacular tricks performed on a 50-meter wide and 12-meter high stage.
The world music performances by the ‘Warriors of Brazil’ with the contagious sounds of samba as they leave the audience breathless with an extraordinary show that combines the Brazilian martial arts, high-energy acrobatics flips, high kicks, spins and leaps done at breathtaking speeds all done with the live music of the ‘Rhythm Carnival’, Brazil’s hottest samba band. As a part of Singapore’s community outreach program, the ‘Warriors of Brazil’ will be conducting workshops for Percussion and Capoeira Club students.
Singapore’s aim in 2010 is to deliver a carnival-like experience with stellar performances and superb artistes. What’s even better, is it’s all included in the ticket price. This year, a new category of walkabout tickets offer access to Zone 1, a three-day ticket allows fans to watch the action along Republic Boulevard where the cars approach the sweeping right-hander at Turn 5. At Turns 22 and 23, spectators will see first-hand drivers entering the pit lane or heading towards the chequered flag. In Zone 1, bleachers will be specially designed to maximize viewing opportunities. Plus, Premier Walkabout ticket holders will have access to the entertainment offerings in the rest of the Circuit Park.
